800 Pound Gorilla, Coming on Strong
Costco is coming on strong with its own brand (Kirkland Signature) in beer, wine and spirits. Various reports suggest Costco is one of the biggest and most powerful US retailers across the alcohol beverage spectrum, and here are signs that they have no intention of easing up on the throttle. Here are Kirkland Scotch, Vodka, Beer and Champagne. All told, Costco has more than 80 alcohol beverage products approved so far under its brand since 2003.

Nice. Nothing says class like a Brut Rose from Champagne. Especially a well thought out blend that is 50% Pinot Noir, and the balance Pinot Meunier and Chard. From a (once) respected property that hold many Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards.
Noting except the Kirkland logo across the top.
Proves that everyone, even family owned grower Champagnes, has a price. Kudos to Costco for setting that price. Do we know if they will import Yellowtail proportions or will this be a few cases per store scenario?
